The National WWII Museum Invades Austin

Thanks to the help of some dear friends in Austin, Texas for hosting a special event to introduce the Museum to some very important Austinites. The Museum, along with the Committee members, hosted a series of events that included a special screening of the HBO miniseries, The Pacific, author and historian Hugh Ambrose and WWII Veteran RV Burgin. The event was very well received and highlighted the importance of preserving the stories of the brave men and women who fought to protect our freedom in WWII.
Museum special guests Hugh Ambrose and RV Burgin were the stars of the show! Hugh’s participation in the making of the HBO Miniseries The Pacific along with RV’s real-life account during his service in the Pacific theater of WWII provided a unique perspective for guests.
A special thanks to all members of the committee, Hugh Ambrose and RV Burgin for making this such a great event!

Honorary Chair, Frank Denius, and friends enjoy a wonderful evening at The National World War II Museum event at the Violet Crown Theater.
