Rick Atkinson ‘The Guns at Last Light’ Video Series – Normandy

Pulitzer Prize winner and best-selling author, Rick Atkinson (An Army At Dawn, The Day of Battle) recently sat down with The National WWII Museum President and CEO, Dr. Nick Mueller, to discuss The Guns at Last Light, the final book in his epic “Liberation Trilogy.” In the first installment of this “sneak peek” video series, the author shares just a few of his discoveries regarding the Normandy invasion — making it clear that even in regards to the most well known battles of WWII, there is always more to learn and discover.

The Guns at Last Light will be released on May 14, 2013. An exclusive pre-release event will be held at The National WWII Museum in New Orleans on May 8, 2013.
