Jeep Rolls to Benefit Museum and Operation Homefront

Jeep was the ubiquitous utility vehicle of the Second World War which gave rise to an entirely new class of consumer vehicles after 1945. The Jeep was used in every theater of the war and by each of the Allied countries.

Today, The National WWII Museum in New Orleans has partnered with Bergeron Automotive and Operation Homefront Louisiana in a three-month promotion to benefit Louisiana’s current service members, wounded warriors and their families who reside in the state.

Now through December 17, 2012 The National WWII Museum will donate two general admission tickets to everyone test-driving a Bergeron Jeep vehicle. Each weekend Bergeron Automotive will underwrite dinner and the signature musical show at the Stage Door Canteen for twenty service members through Operation Homefront Louisiana. Service members can register online for these entertainment packages.

The public is invited to view a 2013 Jeep Wrangler at the Museum on November 17 and see the Museum’s Living History Corps. A presentation will be held in December to present a donation from Bergeron.
