This December not only marks the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor and U.S. entry into the war, it also begins a series of 70th anniversaries of all the battles and events that came after. Starting December 7, 2011, you can keep up with these milestones via Twitter by following @wwiitoday. Not only is this an opportunity to educate and enlighten the public on the war that changed the world as it unfolded, it’s also a way to highlight exclusive oral histories, artifacts and images from the Museum collection, things that are often not on public view.
